Cindy (Rodriguez) Benavides was born in Harlingen, Texas and grew up in La Feria, Texas. Cindy has been married to Alex Benavides for 14 years and they reside in Weslaco, Texas. They have two boys, A.J. (age 11) and Bo (age 10). Cindy enjoys entertaining family and friends in their Weslaco home. She loves South Padre Island, skiing, cheering for the Astros and family vacations.

Rene is married to Linda L. Benavides. They are the proud parents of three children: Rene Carlo Benavides, Jr.; Lauren Elizabeth Benavides and Ryan Christopher Benavides.
